Deck-Out

I really love the collection of looks on UK webshop Oi Polloi called the Deck-Out. The site is filled with the brands all the bloggers love and they always do an exceptional job presenting their product and brand concept. These are some my favorite looks so far and provide tons of inspiration for spring.

Scenes From A Film

A beautfully shot scene from one of my favorite films Un homme et une femme(A Man and A Woman). I tried posting a version of the scene I recorded awhile back but it didn't quite work out so it was cool to find it on youtube. I have a couple of friends who used to race cars back in the 60s and 70s and I love hearing their stories about this era of racing. This and McQueens Le Mans are my favorite about the iconic race. The style, rawness and those beautiful cars is what I like most.

Barney's SS 2011

I don't know about you but most department store junk mail I get goes directly in the recycle bin unless there is a good coupon or two. I was impressed though with this SS 2011 Barney's catalogue I received with a more photographic point of view. These were some of the shot's that stuck with me.

Sartorial Sounds

Stumbled across this gem of a film from the boys over at Street Etiquette. I've long been an admirer of the site and the way those young men represent themselves and their style. I especially like the film because it showcases the things I really can't live without. Style, Music, Film, Enjoy!

Snapped

I decided to add one more item to the list of things I've always wanted to do but never have the time to. I picked up this vintage Ziess Ikon Prontor-SVS 35mm recently and have delved into the world of film photography. I'm not sure I know what I'm getting into but I've always been a fan of film and before it becomes obsolete I figured, no time like the present. I will be referencing some of my photographic heroes(Bresson,Parks,Cornelius) for inspiration and try not to embarrass myself. Stay tuned...

Disclaimer - I didn't actually take these shots with this camera but wanted to showcase it's minimal 50s german design and engineering.

2 and 3

Watching vintage Sesame Street with the little princess this morning and waxing nostalgic as always. Have a great weekend.

Form 2

Bang & Olufsen Form 2 Headphones
I'm not an earbud guy. The only time I really wear them is when I'm running or at the gym. I guess I just like enveloping myself in the music and the feeling of escape I get from placing a pair of headphones over my head. I fell in love with these after trying them on in store and I've been thinking about them ever since. Bang & Olufsen have made modern, minimally designed electronics for decades and these are equally timeless, cool, and sound pretty awesome.

Norwegian Wood

A dear friend gave me this book awhile back as a gift and It's really cool to see this come to film. I need to watch this. Thanks Hollister Hovey for the tip!
