I'm still thinking about that discounted RRL version I should've bought last fall so I definitely plan on redeeming myself this season. I've always really appreciated EG's accessory game and this is no exception. I'd say these have to be darn near perfect for fall and you know the quality is on point.

I have to apologize for the corny blog post title but it's all I could come up with at the moment. I've become committed to building a suitable fall wardrobe and let me tell you, it's no small feat. I live in a coastal and almost tropical environment in which locals consider 65 ÂșC darn near blizzard status but if I role out in anything heavier than a windbreaker I start getting funny stares( strange, I know). Since I originally hail from the Midwest I have an appreciation for the quintessential autumn/winter look( Tweeds, Cords, Wools, Boots) and I'm intent on incorporating as much of it into my fall wardrobe as possible.
One of the staples I've neglected to get is a proper wool knit preferably in an Oatmeal or beige( if your less snobby) color. I think it's a great piece to have and will add coziness and a gentlemanly air to a fall look. I can see myself in either of the above styles(Cardie,Crew,Turtle) with some brown, olive, or navy cords, leather moc's or chukka boot sitting by a fireplace or on the pier with a hot mug in my hand watching the leaves turn brown.

Just a reminder to show love to those who work, sweat and hustle everday for their little piece of the American Dream. Let's hope we can ALL get a slice.
The Passenger
I finally got a copy of this obscure and studied film about one man's decent into isolation and despair by assuming the identity of his dead comrade in Africa. David Locke (Nicholson) is ambiguous in his desire to escape his life as a war correspondent in Africa and not sure of what he wants or where he wants to go. He crosses paths with an equally mysterious and beautiful liaison played by Maria Schneider (Last Tango in Paris) who plays Bonnie to Locke's Clyde as they elude bad men across Africa and Europe.
I thought this film's story was intriguing but left me wanting to know more about how Nicholson's and Schneider's characters came to such a desperate place. You do get some flashback's into Locke's past but little is revealed about the "Girl" and almost seems like a figment of Locke's imagination or maybe a sort of guardian angel. Anyway, the film is another masterpiece by the legendary director Michelangelo Antonioni and great early Nicholson film.
