I had a hell of time trying to get a decent pic of this watch I recently picked up so forgive me. This Swiss made Mido Multifort Super-automatic Powerwind is from the mid to late 50s and I really fell in love with it. The Mido watch company has a 90-year history of making solid, quality watches with sophisticated movements that garner a cult following among watch enthusiasts. This one is self winding and has a uniqueness to it with it's gold hands and hour markers against the stainless steel case. I opted for a more subdued leather strap for work days but will be hunting for the ubiquitous military strap pretty soon. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I only payed $8 for it after winning a monetary prize from a raffle I entered at a local antique dealers shop.
